Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Telemetry (TELE) to provide coverage at a healthcare facility in Decatur, Georgia. This role involves supporting the unit with a focus on interpreting electronic fetal heart monitoring strips and utilizing NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) assessments. The position requires clinical expertise in telemetry and experience with EPIC electronic medical record systems.
Job Details:
- Shift: Day shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: California Registered Nurse (RN) license, EPIC experience, 18+ months experience in telemetry or emergency nursing, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) competency, and ability to read and interpret strips.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a hospital environment with telemetry units, prior experience with electronic fetal monitoring (EFM).
- Additional Information: Position involves clinical responsibilities including patient monitoring, interpreting cardiac rhythms, and managing acute patient conditions. The assignment begins on 08/31/2026.
