Job Summary:
The facility is seeking a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a rotating shift at a healthcare organization located in Mattoon, Illinois. The position involves providing care on a 21-bed medical-surgical unit primarily caring for patients with conditions such as heart failure and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. The RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Location: Mattoon, Illinois
• Position: Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse
• Shift: Rotating, 12-hour days, with at least 40 hours per week
• Start Date: 08/31/2026
• Required Qualifications: Valid registered nursing license, 2 years of experience in the specialty, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, and availability to work every other weekend. Candidate must have a verifiable permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience caring for patients with heart failure and COPD is preferred.
