Preoperative Registered Nurse (RN) Farmington, New Mexico. This role involves providing specialized preoperative nursing care within a busy trauma level III hospital serving a diverse patient population of all ages. The position requires dedicated patient care, assessment, and preparation, supporting smooth surgical workflows and optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: RN license; BLS and ACLS certifications; valid for the location; 2 years of experience in a clinical setting.
- Schedule: 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM, four days per week, minimum of 40 hours weekly.
- Additional Information: The role supports a high-volume trauma and surgery environment, requiring proficiency in electronic health records (Cerner), patient assessment, and preoperative protocols.
- Submission Requirements: Resume and submission form must be provided; screening questions and skills checklist will be part of the intake process.
- Unit Information: Surgical pre-op unit with approximately 1:4-5 patient ratios; equipment includes standard surgical assessment tools; the unit cares for diverse patient populations across all ages.
