Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a night shift position in the Massachusetts area. This role involves providing critical patient care on a Medical Surgical Floor, with a schedule of 36 hours per week, working three 12-hour night shifts from 7:15 PM to 7:15 AM, including holiday and weekend rotations. The position requires a dedicated professional to deliver high-quality nursing care in a dynamic healthcare setting.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 36 hours per week, Nights, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:15 PM to 7:15 AM, with holiday and weekend rotations.
- Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) license, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent, valid Massachusetts nursing license, 1 year of clinical experience on a medical surgical floor, and current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are a plus.
- Additional Information: The role involves adhering to hospital policies, following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. Responsibilities include patient assessment, medication administration, wound care, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
