Job Summary:
The healthcare provider is seeking an Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) registered nurse for a full-time assignment in a healthcare facility. This position involves providing patient care in a specialized unit, with a focus on critical but less intensive patient monitoring. The assignment is scheduled to start on 10/19/2026 and will last approximately six months, ending on 04/18/2027.

Job Details:

• Shift Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Required Qualifications:
  • Valid license to practice as a registered nurse in the designated state, or proof of application with applied date (processing time of 6-8 weeks will be considered for start dates and offers)
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification prior to start
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, including experience with insulin drips, cardiac drips, starting IVs, and post-cardiac catheter care
  • Epic electronic medical record system experience from within the past 2 years is required and non-negotiable
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in an intermediate care setting or IMCU, with a strong focus on cardiac and neurological patient care
• Additional Information:
  • IVS to OFFER
  • Monday to Sunday schedule; no block scheduling for any reason
  • Bi-weekly orientations on Mondays, with the next available on 11/02
  • All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
  • Complete employment history information (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) is required for submission
  • Reliable transportation required, as public transportation is NOT accessible in this area; personal or rental vehicles are recommended
