Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Department Registered Nurse position available in Glendale, Arizona. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients in the labor and delivery setting. The nurse will utilize specialized knowledge and skills to provide high-quality maternal and neonatal care, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and professional nursing practice.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 08/31/2026
  • Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice. BLS certification is required. Experience in labor and delivery or maternal health is preferred. No minimum years of experience specified. The candidate should demonstrate clinical performance competencies appropriate to the area as validated annually.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred). Professional certification related to maternal or neonatal care is advantageous.
  • Additional Information: Provides direct patient care in labor and delivery, monitors fetal and maternal status, and collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to develop and revise care plans. Documents assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely. Participates in unit or facility leadership activities, contributes to quality improvement initiatives, and supports education and mentorship of staff and patients. Synthesis and prioritization of data from multiple sources are essential for effective patient care.
