Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Nurse position in GRAND JUNCTION, Colorado. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks in accordance with accepted practice standards as defined by the state Board of Nursing. The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, with an emphasis on cath lab procedures, health teaching, and health counseling. The position requires a highly skilled RN capable of executing medical functions, reviewing therapy plans, and documenting in compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 4 days of 10-hour days, with weekend and on-call responsibilities requiring a 30-minute response time. The scheduled hours are 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: - ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) from an accredited school of nursing. - Current RN license in the state of practice or a Compact RN license. - BLS (American Heart Association) certification. - ACLS (American Heart Association) certification. - At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience, including skills like circulating PCIs, STEMIs, operating equipment such as Impella and IABP, and all basic nursing skills including medication administration.
• Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelors Degree of Nursing (BSN). - Previous experience as a registered nurse in a cath lab setting.
• Certifications & Licensure: - Active RN license in the state of practice. - BLS (American Heart Association). - ACLS (American Heart Association). - Certification relevant to the specific unit or service is preferred.
• Additional Information: - This role may require floating to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business needs. - May be required to be placed on-call during scheduled shifts.
