Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse Kansas City, Missouri. This role involves providing patient care in a busy emergency department environment. The position requires collaboration with medical staff and delivering high-quality care aligned with unit protocols and patient safety standards.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Certifications & Experience: Candidates must have at least 1 year of clinical experience in emergency nursing, current licensure, and relevant certifications.
• Unit Information:
  • Location: Emergency Department
  • Address: 2316 E Meyer Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64132
  • Beds: 38 beds with various main areas, rapid response zone, and psychiatric safe zone
  • Staffing: 7 day/night registered nurses during each shift
  • Equipment: Ventilators, BiPAP, EKG systems, arterial lines, Belmont monitors, chest tubes
  • EMR: Meditech
• Typical Procedures: Port placements, chest tubes.
• Personality Fit: Patient-focused, detail-oriented, team player, positive attitude, coachable.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information:
  • Floating to Brookside Emergency Department may be required.
  • Schedule includes 4 weekend shifts and at least 2 Fridays every 4 weeks, plus holiday coverage.
