Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse in an unspecified location. This role involves providing patient care across a variety of general medical-surgical settings. The position requires adaptability and the ability to float across multiple hospital campuses, ensuring comprehensive care for diverse patient populations.

Job Details:

• Shift: Rotating, 8 hours per shift
• Schedule: 40 hours per week with flexibility for weekends as scheduled
• Required Qualifications: Zero years of experience, current Iowa state license, BLS certification, heparin experience, EPIC electronic medical record experience, 24 months of patient care experience in a hospital or medical center setting, including general, gynecology, breast, abdominal, flaps, and ENT patient care experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Recent or current Level I trauma experience; Level II trauma experience preferred
• Floating: Float rotation may be required across multiple hospital campuses, including Iowa Methodist Medical Center and Iowa Lutheran.
• Orientation: Scheduled for 09/28/2026, no sooner or later.
• Additional Information:
  • Must have completed a previous travel contract within the last 24 months.
  • No first-time travelers accepted.
  • NBO: 16 hours.
  • EMR: EPIC & Holiday: 1.15x multiplier.
  • Call Back: 1.5x multiplier with a minimum of 2 hours.
  • On Call: Not applicable.
  • Holiday work may be required during Memorial Day, Independence Day, or Labor Day unless the unit is closed.
