Job Summary:
Respiratory Care RN needed in a long-term acute care setting. This position involves working on a respiratory-focused unit with vent-dependent patients, providing specialized care in a non-traditional medical environment. The role requires working 12-hour night shifts, with responsibilities including patient monitoring, medication administration, and various procedural tasks specific to respiratory and chronic care units.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM 7:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, 1-2 years of experience, prior travel experience preferred. BLS certification is required; ACLS certification is preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with respiratory/vented patients strongly preferred.
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The RN will work primarily in a respiratory care unit and a respiratory step-down unit, with responsibilities including IV starts, drips, blood administration, EKGs, medication titrations, glucose monitoring, wound care, trach care, suctioning, Foley care, Port Access, central line dressing, and wound measurements. The role may involve working on one unit for four hours and another for eight hours, with occasional float to other similar units. Candidates must have a clean and organized profile for review.
