Job Summary
Interventional Radiology Technician (IR) Location. This position involves performing diagnostic radiographic procedures within the interventional radiology department. The technician provides technical support for radiographic examinations, assesses patient conditions, operates imaging equipment, and maintains equipment to ensure high-quality diagnostic images. The role includes rotating through advanced areas of diagnostic radiology and supporting patient care during procedures.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certification or license as an Interventional Radiology Technician, with relevant training in diagnostic radiology. No minimum experience required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in interventional radiology or advanced diagnostic imaging is a plus.
- Additional Information: Call required: 10-12 days per month. The technician will perform radiographic exams, ensure high standards of patient safety, and support the interventional radiology team.
