Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a healthcare facility setting. This position involves providing high-quality patient care, supervising nursing staff, and ensuring adherence to safety and clinical protocols. The role emphasizes teamwork, patient safety, and clinical excellence to support patient recovery and well-being.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required prior to first shift; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required prior to first shift; a minimum of two (2) years bedside clinical experience; ICU experience or appropriate skills for Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH); previous experience in an organization.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Progressive Care Unit or similar setting.
• Additional Information: Performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission, develops individualized care plans, and collaborates with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Responsible for accurate documentation, patient education, discharge planning, and maintaining safety standards. May assume charge responsibilities after orientation and actively pursue professional development. Provides supervision and direction to ancillary nursing personnel, ensures safety in all activities, and participates in team-building activities.
