Job Summary:
Home Healthcare RN in Wausau for a 13-week contract, providing patient care in a home health setting. The role involves managing a caseload of 20-25 patients with an emphasis on patient safety, documentation, and clinical competencies. The position requires flexibility in schedule and travel within the territory, adhering to established policies and procedures.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 8-hour days, roughly 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with potential flexibility based on census.
• Required Qualifications: Active Wisconsin or Compact Nurse Licensure, American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Minimum of 2+ years home health experience, prior travel experience, OASIS certification preferred, valid drivers license, experience with electronic medical records including Oasis and Epic Remote Client/Remote Care, proficiency in wound care, IV therapy, ports, lab draws, and chronic disease management.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Nursing.
• Float: Potential to cover additional territories such as Medford, Antigo, WI Rapids, with limited scope based on clinical needs.
• Additional Information: This role involves charting in electronic health records, managing patient episodes, coordinating care, and performing clinical duties such as wound care and lab procedures. Health and safety policies, including mandatory mask use during flu season if vaccines are declined, must be followed. The contract includes 36 hours of low census unbillable hours, with potential for on-call during this time.
