Description
Job Summary:
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) registered nurse position located in the area. This role involves providing specialized care to critically ill pediatric patients in a hospital setting, requiring a commitment to high-quality patient care and team collaboration. The position is scheduled for nights, with a focus on clinical excellence and adherence to hospital protocols.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 12 hours shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications (active compact license), Basic Life Support (BLS), at least 2 years of experience in a hospital setting, valid license at submission, location requirements, and 0 years of minimum experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), pediatric advanced life support (PALS), neonatal resuscitation program (NRP) certification, familiarity with electronic fetal heart monitoring (EFM), and advanced certifications in pediatric critical care
- Additional Information: The position involves providing intensive care to pediatric patients, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, collaborating with healthcare teams, and ensuring adherence to safety and clinical protocols. Candidates should be adaptable to high-pressure situations and demonstrate excellent clinical judgment.
