Job Summary:
Certified Operating Room Technicians in the ORT CERT specialty are sought for a position starting on 08/17/2026 and ending on 11/08/2026. This role involves supporting surgical teams by preparing the operating room, managing sterile fields, setting up surgical equipment, and assisting with instruments and supplies during surgeries. The position requires adhering to strict sterile procedures and supporting patient safety throughout surgical procedures.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certification as a Certified Operating Room Technician (CST) following successful completion of a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP)-accredited program or other programmatically accredited surgical technology program, and passing the national Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) examination administered by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting.
• Additional Information: All travel submissions must include at least 2 years of experience with prior travel experience. No local candidates will be accepted. All assignments are at PWP facilities, where vendors are paid only after facility payment. Responsibilities include preparing the sterile field, managing surgical instruments, supplies, fluids, and specimens, and performing sponge and supply counts to prevent foreign objects from remaining inside patients.
