Job Summary:
Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist working in a high-volume Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory located in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This role involves circulating and assisting with standard cardiac cath and structural procedures, with a focus on moderate sedation. The position offers a dynamic environment with advanced equipment, requiring clinical expertise and adaptability.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 4 days per week, 12-hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:30, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) or Radiologic Cardiovascular Intervention Specialist (RCIS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); minimum of 0 years of cath lab experience; ability to circulate cardiac catheterization and structural cases, with working knowledge of equipment and moderate sedation.
• Preferred Qualifications: Certification as CVRN or RCIS, previous experience with advanced scrubbing (assist) during procedures, monitoring cases, and familiarity with standard cath lab equipment and procedures.
• Procedures performed on unit: Standard cardiac catheterization and structural cases.
• Certifications Required: RN, BLS, ACLS.
• Schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts, 07:00 to 17:30, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Floating policy may require assignment to other areas. Call shifts up to 14 per month, with typical 10-12 shifts. The unit is recognized as a top PCI division, potentially offering exposure to new technology and experienced staff.
