Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Rutherfordton, North Carolina. This role involves providing compassionate maternity, newborn, and gynecological care within an acute care facility. The RN will support the Labor & Delivery department with a focus on maternal and neonatal health, ensuring high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN licensure in North Carolina, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), STABLE, AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification, 3 years of experience including charge nurse experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Labor & Delivery, mother/baby, peds, and gynecology settings; 3 years with charge nurse experience.
• Additional Information: The unit has 3 LDR beds, 4 triage beds, 2 ante-partum beds, and 10 post-partum/gynecology/pediatric beds. Patient care includes maternal, newborn, adult, geriatric, and pediatric populations with monitoring equipment such as Philips fetal monitors with OB Trave Vue EHR system.
