Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in a healthcare facility, providing specialized surgical nursing care within a short-term acute care setting. This role involves assisting in surgical procedures, maintaining sterile environments, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout operative processes.
Job Details
- Certifications: ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Education and Experience: At least 1 year of OR nursing experience; valid license in the applicable state or a valid compact license in hand at submission
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Additional Qualifications: Experience with charting in Epic system preferred; experience with cardiovascular patient care preferred
- Responsibilities: Assisting with surgical procedures, maintaining sterile fields, patient monitoring during operations, and supporting surgical team members
- Submission Requirements: Responses to whether the candidate has prior experience at a Providence facility, along with two references covering 1 year within the last 3 years, are required for compliance
