Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse (L&D) in a hospital setting. This position involves providing specialized care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages. The role requires adherence to clinical protocols and collaboration with a healthcare team to ensure optimal maternal and neonatal outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BSN or higher degree, certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), comparable experience in Labor and Delivery, and at least 1 year of clinical practice in obstetric care.
• Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), previous experience in high-risk obstetric care, and familiarity with electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) techniques.
• Additional Information: The position involves in-depth patient assessments, monitoring fetal and maternal status, and responding to obstetric emergencies. Clinical responsibilities include assisting with labor management, conducting postpartum evaluations, and educating patients on postpartum care.
