Job Summary
Cardiac Cath Laboratory (CCL) RN position is located in Philadelphia, PA. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in a high-volume Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory within a Level-1 Trauma Center. The position features day shifts of 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with on-call requirements and potential to float between affiliated campuses based on operational needs.
Job Details
- Shift: Days, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Start Date: 09/14/2026
- End Date: 12/13/2026
- Required Qualifications: Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS); current license; 1+ years of experience in Cardiac Catheterization Lab; located within reasonable distance to the facility
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous travel experience is required
- Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The role involves supporting 10-25 cases per day, ranging from diagnostic procedures to complex percutaneous coronary interventions and structural heart cases. On-call duties, including 1-2 nights per week, every 4-5 weekends, and holiday coverage, are required. The nurse-to-patient ratio in the holding area is 1:3, and 1:1 during intraprocedure. The facility is a major trauma center with a six-room unit and nine pre/post-procedure bays. The candidate must be adaptable to potential organizational changes, including reporting to different campuses with limited notice.
