Job Summary:

Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Aurora, Colorado. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care in a busy ER setting. The position requires a dedicated healthcare professional capable of managing acute patient needs efficiently, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and adapting to fast-paced environments.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certified as a registered nurse with current licensure, at least 1 year of recent acute care hospital emergency department experience, and certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC).
• Preferred Qualifications: Level 11 Trauma experience and stroke care experience.
• Additional Information: The unit features 50 beds with a staff of 68, including registered nurses and emergency medical technicians/medics. Typical patient ratios are 1:4 or 1:5, with equipment including EKG machines, cardiac monitors, and blood glucose monitors. The team values energetic, collaborative individuals with strong patient care and communication skills. The environment utilizes Meditech electronic medical records and is committed to utilizing new equipment and advanced technology to enhance patient care.
