Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN) position located at a healthcare facility. The RN is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, supervising nursing staff, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans. This role emphasizes patient safety, effective communication, and adherence to clinical standards over a 13-week assignment starting in August 2026.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, from 08/31/2026 to 11/30/2026
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification prior to first shift; minimum of two (2) years bedside clinical experience; no specific degree or additional certifications required; location and experience requirements as specified
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Performs a nursing assessment within 8 hours of patient admission to inform the individualized care plan. Responsible for accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient responses. Initiates discharge planning and patient education from the day of admission. Ensures effective communication across care team members and delegates tasks appropriately. Maintains safety standards and actively participates in team building. Assumes charge responsibilities following orientation and pursues ongoing professional development.
