Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor (MS) nurse position available in an acute care setting. The role involves providing comprehensive bedside care, performing clinical assessments, and ensuring patient safety from pre-operative to postoperative stages. This position requires delivering patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment, adhering to clinical protocols and documentation standards, and supporting patient education efforts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with an Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred; RN license required; BLS certification required; 1 year of clinical experience in medical-surgical nursing preferred
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in a surgical or medical-surgical setting is advantageous
• Additional Information: The role involves demonstrating assessment skills across age groups from Pediatric to Geriatric, supporting clinical procedures and documentation, maintaining patient safety, and ensuring effective patient and family education. Candidates will need to support timely completion of patient testing and evaluate pre-admission testing orders as necessary.
