Description

Job Summary:
Step Down Unit registered nurse (RN) position is available in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized patient care in a step-down or telemetry acute care environment. The position requires adapting to unit needs, whether in progressive care or medical-surgical telemetry, based on individual skills and experience.

Job Details:

Shift Schedule: Days, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: 2 years of experience in a progressively complex patient care environment, with current RN license, certification in RN Step Down (Post-Secondary Certification), and skills in EPIC electronic health record system. Also requires valid drivers license or state ID, professional profile, and three professional references.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with travel assignments and working in a hospital environment
Additional Information: The traveler will be placed on a unit where the greatest need exists, whether in progressive care, step-down, or medical-surgical telemetry, based on skills. There may be a requirement to float on-site within skill set or to facilities within 40 miles if needed.
