Description
Job Summary:
The Emergency Room (ER) Nursing position is based in a community hospital with a Level II trauma designation. This role involves providing patient care in a busy ER setting with a focus on trauma, pediatrics, and critical cases. The assignment begins on 09/15/2026 and concludes on 12/19/2026, offering evening shifts that start at 3 PM, 5 PM, or 7 PM.
Job Details:
- Location: Concord, CA
- Schedule: Evening shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: California licensure, Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), 2+ years of ER experience, previous travel experience preferred
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with trauma cases, pediatric emergency care, and EMR systems such as Epic
- Float: Float rotation may be required depending on operational needs, within scope of the candidates skills
- Additional Information: The ER handles approximately 45,000 patients annually, with patient ratios varying based on acuity and census. The department emphasizes trauma care and pediatric experience. Scrubs are acceptable in any color. The organization will conduct interviews and extend offers.
