Description
Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position in a high-volume, high-acuity emergency care unit. This role involves providing care to patients of all ages with various urgent and critical conditions, including stroke, STEMI, traumas, and psychiatric cases. The position requires proficiency in trauma care, ventilator management, and IV therapies, with a focus on delivering quality care in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- Shift & Schedule: Nights; 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week; every third weekend rotation; holiday schedule based on unit need; willing to consider block scheduling.
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certification; 1 year of ER experience; located in the assigned geographical area.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with trauma, psych, and ICU treatments; proficiency in various invasive and airway management skills.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Orientation includes facility and unit-specific training. Scrub color is Galaxy Blue with black bottoms. Parking is free.
