Job Summary:
The sterile processing technician (SPT) position is based at a pediatric-focused healthcare facility, primarily serving the pediatric patient population. The role involves working evening shifts, typically from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with a schedule of 40 hours per week. The position requires adherence to specific sterilization and scope reprocessing procedures within a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent; at least 1 year of sterile processing experience; 1 year of specialty experience; previous travel experience with multiple successful assignments including at least one with more than two extensions; pediatric experience; endoscope/scope reprocessing experience; Level I trauma experience; surgery center experience (North/South areas function as surgery centers); certifications such as CRCST or CBSPD, with CIS or CER preferred.
Orientation: Dependent on individual competency; standard orientation approximately 2 weeks for most travelers.
Additional Information: Candidates must be flexible, work well within a team, and demonstrate strong sterile processing skills. Only candidates with prior successful travel assignment history will be considered. No RTO approval during the first two weeks of the assignment. Scope/endoscope reprocessing and pediatric experience are required for all candidates.
