Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) for an assignment in an acute care setting. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment, with a focus on critical and acute care needs. The assignment is scheduled for nights and requires flexibility to float across units as needed.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12 hours shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certified as AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS); NIHSS certification required prior to start; a minimum of one year telemetry experience; experience with insulin drips, cardiac drips, starting IVs, post cardiac catheterization; Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience within the past two years; New York State license or proof of application with applied date at the time of submission (licensing process duration of 6-8 weeks is to be considered)

  • No block schedules for any reason
  • Bi-weekly orientation sessions, next available on 09/21
  • Candidates must explain all employment gaps over 90 days
  • Complete work history details (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) are required for submission
• Float: Float rotation may be required due to assignment needs
• Travel Required: No
