Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nursing position located within an acute care healthcare setting. The role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards as defined by the state Board of Nursing. The ER nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, deliver health teaching and counseling, and collaborate with the healthcare team to support patient well-being in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shifts: variable mids/night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with weekend requirements of Yes, providing a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree of Nursing (preferred), current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice, at least 1 year of clinical experience, and active certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and NIHSS.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience as a Registered Nurse in emergency care settings is preferred.
• Additional Information: The position requires performing health data assessments, delivering nursing care, providing health education and counseling, executing therapy and treatment plans, documenting in accordance with regulatory guidelines, and utilizing available resources efficiently. The role may involve floating to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications, and occasional on-call duties during scheduled shifts.
