Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position in a high-volume, fast-paced emergency department. The role involves providing critical care to a diverse patient population, with a focus on efficient and quality patient care. The assignment offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with advanced equipment and experienced staff.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current acute care hospital emergency department experience totaling at least 1 year, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), NIH CPI (National Institute of Health Crisis Prevention Institute) certification, minimum 0 years of experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Meditech experience, previous experience in travel assignments at large facilities, clinical proficiency in procedures such as IV starts, medication administration, sedations, pediatrics, and a strong ability to adapt quickly in a high-paced ER environment
• Additional Information: Candidates should demonstrate a good grasp of patient experience and be capable of handling a diverse ER setting. The unit utilizes advanced equipment including Alaris infusion pumps and Meditech electronic medical records. Successful candidates will be able to maintain efficient patient care and follow unit policies, including medication scanning protocols.
