Job Summary

Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Oklahoma City. This role involves providing specialized perioperative patient care across various surgical specialties, including neurology, urology, oncology, gynecology, robotics, orthopedics, podiatry, ENT, OMF, and general procedures. It requires a professional and enthusiastic healthcare professional to participate actively in patient care and teamwork within the OR environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association, at least 1 year of experience in an Operating Room, and a minimum of 1 year of experience overall.
• Preferred Qualifications: Travel experience of at least 1 year, certification preferred.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The facility has 23 operating rooms, with patient ratios typically at 1:1. Equipment varies depending on specialty. The EMR system used is EPIC. The position involves call responsibilities, including 2 primary and 2 backup shifts over a two-month call period, with rotating self-sign-up opportunities. The role requires adherence to hospital dress code, with light blue scrubs provided by the facility. The work environment emphasizes professionalism, enthusiasm, and active participation in patient care across perioperative areas.
