Description
Job Summary:
Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) Pediatric Specialized Facility Denver, CO. This role involves working within a pediatric sterile processing department in a dedicated pediatric health care environment. The position requires a qualified professional to perform endoscope and scope reprocessing, ensuring sterilization standards are met, and supporting surgical and procedural teams. The assignment is scheduled for evening shifts with a start date of 09/08/2026 and concludes on 12/12/2026.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 8-hour evening shifts, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent; minimum 1 year of sterile processing experience; minimum 1 year of specialty experience; previous travel experience with at least one assignment extended more than two times; pediatric experience; endoscope/scope reprocessing experience; Level I trauma experience; surgery center experience (North/South areas function as surgery centers); certifications: CRCST or CBSPD preferred certifications; skills in sterile processing environment, teamwork, and following protocols.
- Preferred Qualifications: CIS CER certification.
- Additional Information: Candidates must be flexible, work well within a team setting, and demonstrate strong sterile processing skills. No RTO during the first two weeks of the assignment. Medical and religious exemption requests for seasonal influenza vaccination will be considered. Scope/endoscope reprocessing and pediatric experience are mandatory for all candidates.
