Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in a healthcare facility located in Clyde, North Carolina. The role involves providing specialized patient care for adult populations with cardiac and telemetry needs, utilizing telemetry equipment and following established clinical protocols. This assignment offers an opportunity to work in a well-equipped facility with a focus on cardiac observation and post-procedural care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift with 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, minimum of 2 years of experience in step-down or ICU settings, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certifications, and current practice in an adult patient population.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in cardiac telemetry, post-cardiac catheterization patients, and cardioversions.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The unit has 22 beds with a patient ratio of 4:1. Equipment includes telemetry monitors, and the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system used is Paragon. The unit cares for cardiac observation, post-cardiac cath lab patients, and adult cardiac patients. This position is suitable for team-oriented professionals with good communication skills and flexibility.
