Description
Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Neurology Floor Nurse in a healthcare setting. This position involves providing direct patient care within a neurology-focused unit, utilizing nursing skills to support patient recovery and well-being. The role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care aligned with clinical standards.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours shifts (6:30 PM 7:00 AM), minimum of 36 hours per week, from 09/07/2026 to 12/07/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Current Wisconsin nursing license, National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications, education verification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in medical-surgical neurology nursing is a plus.
- Float: Float rotation may be required to other units.
- Additional Information: Candidates should be experienced in administering prescribed medications and treatments, documenting according to standards of care, developing patient care plans, and participating in performance improvement activities. Critical thinking and adherence to safety protocols are essential to patient care and experience.
