Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse ?L&D? for a healthcare organization in Michigan. This position involves providing leadership in the coordination and delivery of high-quality, compassionate patient care during labor and delivery. The role utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to deliver, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and their families. Effective communication of pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team is essential to ensure positive patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 3/12 shifts, 7:00 PM 7:30 AM, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: - Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. - Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing. - Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS). - Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in labor and delivery nursing.
• Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN). - Additional certifications or specialized training in obstetric or neonatal care are a plus.
• Additional Information: The role entails performing a wide variety of professional nursing services related to labor and delivery, including formulation of effective nursing care plans, clinical assessments, and effective communication with patients, families, and other hospital personnel.
