Job Summary:
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Nurse Night Shift Location unspecified. This position involves providing specialized care for critically ill pediatric patients within the pediatric intensive care unit. The role starts in early November or later, with an anticipated duration through February. The schedule includes 12-hour night shifts, totaling 36 hours per week, with options for block scheduling and weekend coverage.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, including Friday through Sunday, with possible block scheduling (D or N shifts).
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, minimum of 2 years PICU experience, and current certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with PICU bed expansion or managing additional beds in the unit.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The position involves working in a pediatric intensive care unit with a focus on critical pediatric patient care. The assignment start date is 11/02/2026, with a potential end date of 02/01/2027.
