Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse in a hospital setting. This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients in the labor and delivery department, ensuring adherence to hospital standards and policies. The role requires providing culturally sensitive patient care and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support maternal and neonatal health.

Job Details

• Schedule: Rotating shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Completion of basic professional curriculum of a school of nursing approved by a state board of nursing; holds or is entitled to hold a valid multi-state or State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License; BLS, NRP, and proof of instruction/passage of Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring; zero (0) years minimum experience; Epic experience (Muskogee).
• Preferred Qualifications: Epic experience (South, Yale); Cesarean Section; Labor and Delivery experience; LDRPS; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
• Additional Information: The role involves utilizing complex clinical skills and critical thinking to monitor and support maternal and neonatal patients. Responsibilities include documentation, patient education, timely referrals, and collaboration with healthcare team members. Commitment to attending mandatory in-service training and supporting unit and hospital goals is essential.
