Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) registered nurses (RNs) are sought for a contract position in a level 4 NICU setting. This role involves providing specialized care to neonatal patients within a dynamic and collaborative environment. The position is designed for professionals committed to delivering exceptional neonatal care and working as part of a dedicated team.
Job Details:
- Location: The healthcare provider operates in a facility with a 65-bed neonatal unit, staffed by over 200 healthcare professionals.
- Shift: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Duration: September 21, 2026, to December 21, 2026.
- Certifications/Education: Valid RN license, 2 years of NICU experience, and experience in a level 4 NICU are preferred; at least 0 years of experience required.
- Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Responsibilities: Providing advanced neonatal nursing care, utilizing equipment such as ventilators and infusion pumps, and adhering to unit policies.
- Additional Information: Must have a positive attitude and strong teamwork skills, with a focus on flexibility and adaptability to change. Dress code requires Navy scrubs. The unit recognizes staff achievements and values ongoing staff contributions.
