Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse is needed at a local healthcare facility. The position involves supporting surgical procedures in a busy OR environment, ensuring patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols. This role requires active engagement in surgical cases, documentation, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Days, 36 hours per week, starting on 09/21/2026 and ending on 12/21/2026
• Required Qualifications: CA Registered Nurse (RN) license; BLS and ACLS certifications; 2 years of experience as an orthopedic circulator with total hip and total knee experience. Spine experience preferred.
• Skills: Lobe resection, Lung resectionThoracotomy, Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy, Colon resection, Hernia repair inguinal/umbilical, Laparoscopic assisted procedures, Thyroidectomy partial/total, Arthroscopy, Closed reduction of fractures, Laminectomy/discectomy, Open reduction of fractures, Orthopedic and spine surgeries, Spinal fusion, Total joint replacement, Cystoscopy, Nephrectomy, Prostatectomy, Transurethral resection of the prostate, Fire Safety, Cell saver, Blood administration, Infection control, Laser Safety, Radiation Safety, Specimen Handling/labeling, Universal Protocol (Time out), Wound Management.
• Additional Information: Onsite orientation hours are 24. Candidates must upload Nursys license verification within the last 2 weeks, and applicable certifications with valid expiration dates. References must be obtained within the last year. All compliance documents are due 10 days prior to the start date.
