Description

Job Summary
Certified Operating Room Technician (ORT CERT) Denver, CO. This seasonal travel assignment involves supporting a busy surgical unit with elective cases, primarily in orthopedic, spinal, general, cardiovascular, plastics, gynecology, robotics, and urology procedures. The role requires teamwork, flexibility, and responsiveness, with a focus on patient care and efficient surgical operations.

Job Details

Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid certification as a Certified Operating Room Technician, current acute care hospital experience of at least 6 months, NBSTA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) certification, DORA (Department of Regulatory Agencies) certification, BLS certification, and location within acceptable distance to respond within 30 minutes
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with orthopedic/spine cases, cardiovascular procedures, and robotic surgeries are advantageous
Responsibilities: Support elective surgical cases, adhere to unit policies, participate in call rotations, respond within 30 minutes during call, and work collaboratively within a team environment
