Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse in a healthcare facility located in Idaho. This position involves working night shifts with a schedule of 36 hours per week, including every other weekend and holiday coverage for New Years Eve and New Years Day. The role requires active professional licensure and certifications relevant to obstetric care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid Idaho nursing license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Association of Womens Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) certification. No minimum years of experience specified, but a relevant professional background in Labor and Delivery is preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in labor and delivery nursing.
- Additional Information: This role involves caring for obstetric patients, supporting labor, delivery, and postpartum care, adhering to hospital policies including Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Flexibility for holiday shifts including New Years Eve and New Years Day is required.
