Job Summary
Step Down Unit RN positions are available in a healthcare facility. These roles involve providing specialized patient care within a step down or transitional unit, utilizing a broad skill set in medical-surgical and telemetry care. The assignments offer opportunities for experienced Registered Nurses to contribute to critically monitoring patients requiring intermediate levels of care.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: 2 years of post-licensure experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Medical-Surgical Telemetry, or Acute Care settings; current nursing license; certification verification; valid drivers license or state ID; must possess an active profile with the organization; two professional references
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EPIC) systems; previous travel experience
- Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The traveler will be placed based on the greatest need, whether in a PCU, Medical-Surgical, or Telemetry unit, aligned with their skills and experience. Candidates may be floated within their skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed.
