Job Summary:
Certified Operating Room Technician (ORT CERT) in the specialized field of surgical technology, working in a healthcare facility located in Lone Tree, Colorado. This position involves supporting procedures in the Spine & Total Joint unit, particularly focusing on spine fusions, ALIFS, and total joint replacements. The role requires flexibility and teamwork to ensure smooth surgical operations during day shifts.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shift from 6:45 AM to 4:45 PM, Monday through Friday, with on-call responsibilities requiring a 30-minute response time.
- Required Qualifications: Certification as a Certified Operating Room Technician (ORT CERT), current hospital-based surgical tech experience of at least 6 months, active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and NBSTA certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with spine and joint surgical procedures, specifically spine scrub and joint scrub experience.
- Additional Information: The unit has 3 ORs dedicated to Spine & Joint procedures and employs a staff of approximately 60 team members. The environment is equipped with advanced technology, including EMR systems for patient documentation. The team values flexibility and a positive personality fit to maintain a collaborative surgical setting. On-call duties are part of the role, ensuring staffing coverage for urgent cases.
