Description
Job Summary:
The healthcare organization is seeking a Medical Surgical Floor (MS) registered nurse for a nights shift position. This role involves providing primary overnight nursing care to patients, maintaining a patient ratio of 1:7, and rotating every third weekend. The candidate will be working with Cerner electronic medical records and should have a minimum of two years of Med/Surg experience.
Job Details:
- Position: Medical Surgical Floor (MS)
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Start Date: 09/14/2026
- End Date: 12/12/2026
- Certifications/Education/Experience: Valid registered nursing license, two or more years of medical-surgical nursing experience, Cerner electronic medical records experience required, must be agreeable to a 1:7 patient ratio and rotating every third weekend shift
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience with patient care during overnight hours and familiarity with hospital protocols for Med/Surg units
- Additional Information: The nurse will provide primary care on patients overnight, following standard operating procedures and hospital policies related to Med/Surg nursing. The role requires working overnight hours with clinical responsibilities aligned with patient safety and quality standards.
