Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse in an acute care facility. This role involves providing bedside care in a busy labor and delivery department with a focus on couplet care and OR circulation. The position requires flexibility to float between units, adherence to clinical guidelines, and the ability to manage multiple patient needs in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 11.5 hours per shift, with a minimum of 34.5 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: ACLS (American Heart Association), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), BLS (American Heart Association), Intermediate Fetal Monitoring; minimum of 2 years of related experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) and couplet care; circulating in OR with patient care skills.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Candidate must be in the state during the week of orientation, even if some modules are remote. The unit operates under AWHONN (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses) guidelines for ratios and priorities. The team works with fetal monitoring systems (GE and OBIX) and adheres to hospital policies regarding call, standby, and shift cancellations. The position is on Trauma Level 3, specializing in acute labor and delivery care with potential on-call responsibilities.
