Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Miami, FL. This role involves working in a busy surgical unit that supports a variety of procedures including robotics, neuro, and orthopedic surgeries. The OR Nurse will ensure patient safety, assist surgical teams, and maintain sterile environments in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, must have 2 years current experience in an acute hospital setting, strong ortho, neuro, and robotics experience, willingness to float to general OR
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Robotics/Da Vinci systems, scrub experience, ability to prepare operating rooms, assist during surgeries, and maintain surgical equipment
- Additional Information: Prepare operating rooms, arrange equipment, and support surgical teams during procedures. Inspect, maintain, decontaminate, and repair surgical equipment, keeping detailed inventory records. Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to surgical protocols.
