Description

Job Summary
The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for a 13-week assignment in Colorado Springs. This position involves providing high-level neonatal care, with responsibilities aligned to the units needs. Candidates must be flexible to float within pediatric and neonatal units and be available to work nights.

Job Details

  • Position Title: RN - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
  • Location: Childrens Hospital Colorado Colorado Springs
  • Assignment Duration: 13 weeks from 10/06/2026 to 01/09/2027
  • Schedule: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
  • Shift Hours: 12 hours per shift
  • Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
  • Travel Required: No
  • Float: Float rotation may be required to other areas within clinical competence within thirty-five (35) miles of the original facility.
  • Qualifications:
    • Education: Must have BSN
    • Licensure: RN license required
    • Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
    • Experience: Two years of Level 3 NICU experience preferred
    • Additional notes: No RTO approved within the first two weeks of assignment; exemption requests for seasonal influenza vaccination are allowed
  • Required Qualifications:
    • BSN degree, RN licensure, two years of Level 3 NICU experience, BLS, NRP, PALS certifications, and willing to work nights
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Comfort with pediatric patients from birth through 18 years, Pediatric/PICU experience
  • Additional Information:
    • Must be available to work 2 of the 3 specified holidays
    • Must be available to work 2 of the 3 designated holiday dates
    • No remote or work-from-home options
    • Weekend requirements are based on staffing needs of the unit
    • The organization reserves the right to reassign personnel within their clinical competence within thirty-five (35) miles of the original assignment location
