Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Lewiston, ME. This role involves providing high-quality care to adult and geriatric patient populations in a busy, high-volume unit featuring telemetry and dysrhythmia management. The RN will support all aspects of patient care, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours guaranteed per week.
• Required Qualifications: BLS certification, RN license, 0 years of experience, located within the state of Maine or able to obtain licensure there.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias.
• Additional Information: High volume of discharges and admissions daily; common medications include Hydromorphone PCA and epidurals. The unit utilizes Baxter IV pumps, SIGMA Spectrum Infusion System, with EMR systems including Omnicell and EPIC. The patient population primarily consists of adult and geriatric patients, with cases including total joint surgeries, hip fractures, spine surgeries, trauma, and medical/surgical overflow.
