Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Frisco, TX. This assignment involves providing specialized care to neonatal patients in a state-of-the-art NICU unit. The role requires a dedicated healthcare professional prepared to work in a rapidly evolving environment with a focus on family-centered care.

Job Details:

• Location: Frisco, TX
• Position: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) RN
• Shift: Days, 12-hour shift times
• Schedule: 36 hours per week, 13-week assignment starting on 09/14/2026 and ending on 12/14/2026
• Required Qualifications: Active RN license; 2+ years of hospital or specialty experience; BLS certification; NRP certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience caring for infants requiring CPAP or ventilation; experience with central lines; stabilization experience and attending deliveries; developmental care skills.
• Patient Care Responsibilities: Assist with line placement, circumcision, intubation; deliver family-centered care.
• Unit Specifics:
  • Beds: 6
  • Patient ratio: Approximately 3:1
  • Staff: Minimum of 2 NICU RNs per shift with 24/7 in-house neonatal nurse practitioner coverage, OB hospitalist, and anesthesiologist
  • Equipment includes GE bedside monitors, GE beds, Natus Neoblue phototherapy lights, Neomed and Medfusion pumps
  • Documentation via Meditech and CPNS
• Unit Policies:
  • Floating as needed to nursery
  • Adherence to hospital guidelines, including attire and body art policies
  • No perfumes or lotions permitted
