Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Frisco, TX. This role involves providing specialized care for neonatal patients in a well-equipped unit staffed with experienced personnel and modern equipment. The assignment is scheduled for 13 weeks, with a focus on family-centered care and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Job Details:

• Position: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) RN
• Location: Frisco, TX
• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts
• Schedule: Every other weekend, with minimum of 36 hours per week
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (from 09/14/2026 to 12/14/2026)
• Required Qualifications: Active RN license; 2+ years of hospital/specialty experience; BLS certification; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with infants requiring CPAP or ventilation, central lines, stabilization during deliveries; developmental care experience; familiarity with GE bedside monitors, GE beds, Natus Neoblue phototherapy lights, and Meditech/CPNS documentation systems
• Documentation System: Meditech and CPNS
• Float: Float rotation may be required to the nursery as needed
• Procedures performed on unit: Assist with line placement, assist with circumcision, assist with intubation
• Patient Experience: Focus on family-centered care
• Dress Code:
  • RN: Royal Blue Medical City Healthcare Scrubs (purchased from Scrubs and Beyond)
  • Nails: Clean, healthy, no polish or artificial nails
  • Hair: Neat, clean, with shoulder-length or longer hair pulled back when working in the lab
  • Tattoos: Body art should be covered whenever possible
  • Piercings: Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
  • Other: No perfumes or lotions
